Is MytPRICE™ difficult to learn?
You work productively in MytPRICE™ within fifteen minutes with only
basic computer knowledge if you make a reasonable attempt to become familiar with the manual.
In lieu of the above,
it could take as long as half an hour to learn the program. In other
words, it's very easy to learn.

Is
it available for the Mac?
No,
the program is platform specific but will run on a Mac using PC compatibility
software.
Is
there a realistic payback time for
MytPRICE™?
Let’s say you gross only
$50,000 annually in T-Shirt sales (a very
modest amount) and your average selling price per shirt is $5.00.
If your wholesale costs increase (including shirts, freight, heat, light
or any other cost that takes money from your bottom line) by only one penny per
shirt and you fail to immediately increase your shirt prices by that penny,

You're
providing a way to create price sheets. First, How do I price my
shirts?
There
is no single formula for everyone. However, we're working on a number of
enhancements that allow you to plug in your particular circumstances and MytPRICE™
will calculate suggested prices.
It
think I can make my own prices using a spreadsheet. Why buy
this program?
Actually,
anyone familiar with a spreadsheet program and who has extra time might likely create
their own price sheets. There are a couple caveats in the previous
sentence...familiar and extra time. MytPRICE™
was originally written in 1987 using Quattro-Pro™. It was re-created in MicroSoft™
Excel in the mid to late 1990s and proved satisfactory for in-house use.
Explaining it to others and creating an acceptable interface was
another matter. It was ultimately written in yet a third format and a clean
understandable interface was achieved. Re-writing it took about 1000
hours. The program protection scheme, which you wouldn't need for your own
use, took another 300+ hours. To summarize, if you like a challenge, by
all means create your own. If you're looking to save money, five cents an hour hardly seems like a great wage.

Will
MytPRICE™ run on Windows XP™?
Yes.
MytPrice(tm) version 3.44.05 and later is Windows XP
compatible
Current
licensees running version 3.44.03 or earlier, who upgrade their operating
systems to Windows XP should not experience any difficulty.
We
are in no way encouraging you to upgrade your Operating System. Operating
System installations and upgrades, even when accomplished by a systems
professional, are serious matters and can cause untold problems. As a
software publisher it is our responsibility to provide information such as this to customers and potential
customers alike.
Will MytPRICE™
run on a network?
MytPRICE™
will not run across a network. It is a single user program.
Your
information specs on the MytPrice page says: Free program updates. Version
upgrades priced nominally. What does that mean?
Let's
say that you purchased MytPRICE™ version 3.44.03. You are entitled to
all program Updates within MytPRICE™
version 3, i.e. you are entitled to a free update of versions
3.44.04, 3.44.05, 3.44.06 and all other fixes or enhancements to version 3 of
the program. When MytPRICE™
version 4.0 is released, it will include new features and additions not found in
the previous version. The new program, or upgrade, is therefore subject to
a nominal Upgrade fee.
